… it’s back! I HAVE to comment, but I’ll be brief:
Dermot was squeezable, I loved single parent Stacey’s reaction to Louis (‘I can’t believe you’re saying my name!’), Joseph from South Shields brought on my first tears of the new series by singing ‘Dance with my Father Again’, Duane’s rendition of ‘Ain’t no Mountain’ was corker and his reaction to Simon was both humbling and full of star quality. But, for me, it was the lovely Danyl who stole the show and, most impressively, he didn’t have a tear-jerking story to tell.
And, a brief message for my dearest Simon - I’ve missed you so. And, dearest Simon, all that stuff I said about Piers, I take it all back, I only said it to make you jealous and… well, I think you’re lovely and now that I get to watch you every Saturday and yesterday I received a copy of Simon Cowell: The Unauthorized Biography by Chas Newkey-Burden, my life is complete.

Love, love, love Danyl and I never thought about it, until you said, but nobody had a sob story to tell last night, about from little Miss Flump (and was anyone really bothered that she had been evicted due to her singing?)
Ooooh, he was rather fabulous, wasn’t he? But surely the winner can’t be shown on the first episode… x
Some of those on “X” Factor do not seem to have an “inner-critic” voice.
My own is shouting very loudly at present.
Could use a friendly email from one who understands.
As a wise man once said to me, ‘Believe and wishes will come true’. I’ll email you… x
But won’t Goofy be jealous?
not if you dont tell him… x
You do make me laugh, Caroline. So fickle!
’tis my middle name x
I loved him, more especially because he reminded me of Will Young - the mouth, the smile - but I think I would have to say that he reminded me of Will Young on speed!
he did have a bit of the ‘Wills’ about him. I’d happily pay to hear them both sing, together, at the same time, possibly with them both in speedoes… did I say that out loud? x
I thought he was amazing and such an entertainer. I hope he does well.
I do too. Sometimes they do well in the first audition and then fall apart in Boot Camp. Fingers crossed for him.
at last a talented individual without the obligatory sob story…
as they say in the ads, How refreshing!
Exactly! It was all about his talent.
Thanks for posting this just for me. I can now stop crying about the fact that I missed it.
Awww, I am sure that Simon noticed you weren’t watching… x
Loved Danyl. He’s quite local to me, so I’m thinking it’ll get a little crazy around here when it comes to the live shows (if he gets through, which I hope he will!)
