It’s official, I’m on the Chester Literature Festival website and those with a keen eye will have seen the widget-thingie (I have such way with words!) in my sidebar.
The event, which is me talking about my publishing experiences and reading from my writing and probably telling everyone there all my secrets, is on October 13 2009, from 1-2pm at Oddfellows (20 Lower Bridge St, Chester, Cheshire, CH1 1RS) and it costs £5. BUT, and this is the fabulous bit, that price includes cake and tea.
So it’ll be me, chatting and reading and cake eating and mainly really hoping that someone turns up (eek!). Tickets can be bought HERE (book early to avoid disappointment) (did that make me sound really important?) and full details of the Chester Literature Festival can be found HERE.

Best of luck, Caroline - I’m sure the place will be heaving!
Twitter: @DuddyWish I could be there! Eat some cake for me. I would love to come, but the Atlantic Ocean is kind of in the way. Good luck, don’t be too nervous.
Twitter: @whythulcClare Dudman - eek, I’ll be happy if it isn’t just me, on my own, eating cake. OMG, can you imagine?

Sounds fab. I wish I lived closer and could go.
Wow - is that a weekendy day
or a weeky day
I think I might try and come. I met some lovely lads on the train last time, they got me all nice and drunk and took pity on me for being a Newcastle fan…
Combine that with cake (oh, and you of course) and we’ve got a winner
